Charter and Policies

Much of the strength and power of Own Your Channel (OYC) is that we move together as a single unit.  We maintain the integrity of our structure as we add every new portfolio company, and this is how we multiply our income as we add new opportunities.  There are certain principles and practices that every member must agree to in order for the organization to function optimally.  Members of OYC agree to abide by the following charter:

1. We agree to maintain the highest level of ethics and honesty in everything we do.
2. We agree to not make any inappropriate income claims or promises of wealth.
3. We agree to join portfolio companies on defined schedules. If a member chooses not to join a portfolio company, that member will be passed over for that particular opportunity.
4. We understand that if we don't move together into portfolio companies, the system may break down and we are back to fending for ourselves.
5. We agree to join the portfolio companies based on the same order stored in the OYC member database. Members will NOT try to circumvent the system by signing up in portfolio companies under anyone other than the person that sponsored them into OYC.
6. We agree to respect the privacy of the people on our teams. We will not use any contact information we receive for anything other than defined OYC projects.
7. OYC is a social network for entrepreneurs.  You are free to share ideas and communicate with anyone in the social network.  But, please do not attempt to recruit people from OYC into your personal business opportunity.  OYC is a “safe place” where ideas can be shared.  Members that break this rule will be irrevocably removed from the social network.

Cancellation Policy

Members can cancel their subscription at any time.  Their account will remain active until the end of that billing period.  At which time, their account will become disabled.  Members are not entitled to reimbursement for any membership fees paid up to and including that billing cycle.  No additional fees will be charged after the cancellation date.

Income Disclaimer

At Own Your Channel, we believe in honesty and full disclosure, especially in regards to income disclaimers. We are not a Distributorship or a Direct Sales Organization. We do not pay out commissions in any form to our members. We offer recommendations about which companies may be best suited for our members’ pre-existing sales channels. This pre-existing sales channel is stored and managed in the Own Your Channel (OYC) database.

Any sales opportunity recommended by OYC does not guarantee income or profitability. Individual earnings will be based on the size and structure of each individual’s sales channel. See each company’s average income statements for estimates on income projections within that particular opportunity.  No company can guarantee a particular income.  Hypothetical examples used by Own Your Channel in presentations and marketing materials are not guarantees of a particular income, but are meant to illustrate how various compensation plans operate, and how members may be able to benefit from them. These hypothetical examples are for educational purposes only. They do not represent or project guaranteed income or profits of OYC members.

Own Your Channel attempts to maximize each member’s opportunity for success through education, training, and the marketing tools provided through the replicated websites.  The purchase of an OYC membership and the tools provided to OYC members do not guarantee success.  Building a sales channel takes very hard work and a high level of skill.  Each OYC member’s success with each individual direct sales or multi-level marketing company is derived only from the size and structure of their existing team, which requires hard work and diligence to build and maintain.
