Participation is not mandatory. But it is assumed that if you joined Own Your Channel, you will abide by its charter. It’s similar to investing in a mutual fund. It’s your decision to join the fund, but you don’t get to determine which stocks they will purchase on your behalf. And just like a mutual fund, it has t the same benefits: simplicity and diversification. If the charter is not something you can agree to in advance, then “Own Your Channel” may not be for you.
